Vittel water ‘ReVittelising’ Tour of Ireland cyclists in 2009

Vittel has today announced that it will be the Official Water Partner of the Tour of Ireland cycling event which is taking place in Ireland this summer. This is the second year that Vittel is the Official Water for the event which will take place from 21st to 23rd August.

Vittel has a global association with the sport of cycling and is currently the Official Water for the world famous Tour de France. As Official Water Partner to the Tour of Ireland, more than 10,000 litres of Vittel will be distributed to the cyclists competing in the three day event. Vittel representatives will also be on hand throughout the 550km race to ensure that all contestants are revitalised and hydrated at all times.

Speaking at the announcement on behalf of Vittel in Ireland, Mary Captieux, said: “We are delighted that Vittel is once again supporting the Tour of Ireland, a perfect synergy given Vittel’s partnership with the Tour de France. This is a world-class competition and one of the must-see sporting events this summer. We are proud that Vittel will be hydrating the participants throughout the race and we wish them and everyone associated with it the best of luck.”

This year, the Tour of Ireland 2009 Cycling Event stage towns include Enniskerry, Waterford, Clonmel, Killarney, Bantry and Cork.
